Meet Gabriel - The Cyclone Kid. He used to be the third-best tour guide in Dublin. He could sing, he could dance, he wore a green chequered suit. Did we mention his fluent Irish? He could get you into places you'd never see with anyone else. He was the real deal, climbing to the top of the TripAdvisor mountain. That was before the incident. Before it all fell apart. Now he's a cycle courier and this is his story. Join him as he takes you on a very unofficial tour around Merrion Square Park.

'The playful tone of Sam Ford's one-man show is infectious. The story is both funny and moving' The Independent

Directed by John King
Starring Domhnall Herdman

July 18th - August 13th, 2022
Playing Monday to Saturday at 3pm in Merrion Square
NOTE : THERE ARE NO PERFORMANCES ON JULY 22nd AND 23rd!

In 2020, we commissioned playwrights to dream up new and exciting plays for outdoor promenade performances. They came up with a series of innovative and contemporary pieces that take us on intriguing and entertaining journeys through Dublin in the hugely popular and award-nominated WALKABOUT season in 2021.
THE CYCLONE KID was a big favourite and we are delighted to offer our audiences a chance to catch it this Summer in a safe outdoor environment.

ACCESSIBILITY: the show traverses the length of one side of Merrion Square, mainly on the path with stops to watch scenes unfold. There are two excursions onto the grassed area. There are no steps to navigate, but some slopes. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact us at bewleyscafetheatre@gmail.com.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT POST OUT TICKETS. We will have a record of your booking at the box office.
There is no need to print out your ticket.
