Bewley's Café Theatre in association with Bare Witness Theatre present...
DICEMAN In the spotlight of Dublin’s busiest street, a mesmerising stillness was created... For twenty years, Thom McGinty, aka The Diceman, entertained audiences on Grafton Street, becoming a living landmark and an icon of Dublin life. A silent rebel against the hustle and bustle, his outrageous costumes and mischievous winks succeeded in shocking, surprising and delighting his passers-by. At Bewley’s Café Theatre, on the same street that The Diceman made his name, actor Christopher Samuel Carroll explores the extraordinary life of a busker, performer, protester and pioneer. Set to an original soundscape by award-winning sound artist La Cosa Preziosa, this intimate portrait reveals the man behind the many masks of a true Dublin character. PLEASE NOTE: We do not post out tickets, but will have a record of your booking at the door. Lunchtime shows start at 1.10pm (doors open from 12.50pm). Please arrive no later than 1pm. Thank you. Credit Card booking prices are show only. Lunch (soup and hearty brown bread) is available for €4. If you have a discount code, please enter and hit 'Submit' before proceeding.
